In honor of Stephen Sondheim's 90th birthday this year, Scottsdale Musical Theater Company will present Sweeney Todd: In Concert on March 31st and April 1st at the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. Winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Original Score, Sweeney Todd is probably the most impressive and iconic work by Mr. Sondheim.

Already a sensation in England and semi-finalists in Britain's Got Talent, these thirteen sharp-suited singers will serve a cocktail of hot harmonies and choreography at Manhattan's 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club. Singing an eclectic mix of songs, focusing on covers of modern rock and pop hits, such as "Roar" by Katy Perry, "I Just Haven't Met You Yet" by Michael Buble and a mash up of "Uptown Funk/All-Star" by Mark Ronson and Smash Mouth, they'll be sure to provide a musical experience like no other.

SMTC presents one of the most beloved musicals of all time, Fiddler on the Roof, for a special engagement. Performances will take place at the intimate 300-seat Dorrance Auditorium on the beautiful campus at Phoenix Country Day School (3901 E. Stanford Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253). This full production of Fiddler on the Roof will feature an incredible cast and a full live orchestra, a rarity in town. Show dates are tonight, August 16th at 7:30PM; Friday, August 17th at 8PM; Saturday, August 18th at 8PM and concluding Sunday, August 19th at 2PM.
