After allegations sow doubt in the minds of a congregation, the audience and the congregation in the play are faced with how to determine truth and what if any action to take.

"Doubt can be a bond as powerful and sustaining as certainty," says Father Flynn in this play that remains as contemporary and powerful as the first day it was first produced.

"This magnificently crafted play tells a riveting story, but it is also much more." said director Charles Calabrese. "It is a moral journey through conviction and uncertainty."
