With the mantra 'Retro never sounded so now,' Under the Streetlamp harmoniously blends the diverse talents of Michael Cunio, Michael Ingersoll, Christopher Kale Jones, and Shonn Wiley to perform classic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s with the perfect balance of tender ballads and uptempo classics, all done with the same signature harmonies and slick dance moves that have made them irresistible.

As announced earlier today on his popular industry blog The Producer's Perspective, Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport (It's Only a Play, Kinky Boots, ...Madison County) wants YOU, the public, to help choose the logo for the upcoming Broadway production of the new musical GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER.

Today, June 24, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) and stage and screen icon Marilu Henner (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Chicago) will headline private industry readings of the new Broadway-bound musical GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER in midtown Manhattan.

On Tuesday, June 24, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) and stage and screen icon Marilu Henner (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Chicago) will headline private industry readings of the new Broadway-bound musical GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER in midtown Manhattan.

Kicking off 3-D's 2014 musical theatre season, The Producers opened February 1, 2014 at 8:00 pm. Performances will continue in Fullerton through Sunday, February 16. 3DT will then move the production to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center for its first season of 'extended' performances February 21 - March 2. After being honored by the prestigious LA Stage Alliance with 15 Ovation Award nominations and 5 wins (including Best Musical) for their 2013 production of Jason Robert Brown's Parade, 3DT's Executive Producer/Artistic Director T.J. Dawson said 'What better way to begin a new year season than with the musical that has won more Tony Awards than any other show in history.' Check out the opening night photos below!

9 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick will be rockin' every night beginning September 24 with music and laughter. George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced casting for the opening production for the venerable theatre's fortieth season. Gettin' The Band Back Together (formerly titled Garage Band) is a rockin' valentine to the Garden State, and will be directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando - who also helmed The Toxic Avenger in New Brunswick (and New York) a few seasons back. Gettin' The Band Back Together will rock the house beginning Tuesday, September 24 and continue through Sunday, October 27. Opening night is set for Friday, October 4. Gettin' The Band Back Together is performed by special arrangement with Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, Inc. and Roy Putrino.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment present WINTER WONDERETTES, created and directed by Roger Bean, choreography by John Vaughan and musical direction by Brian Baker. WINTER WONDERETTES opened on Saturday, December 8 and runs through Sunday, December 30, 2012 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada. The show opened July 7th at Laguna Playhouse to sparkling reviews. Wonderettes creator Roger Bean has selected 32 songs for the new show and each one, from beloved classic to hidden treasure, has received the signature Wonderettes touch for the new album.

Roger Bean has had such tremendous success with his Marvelous Wonderettes, the musical fable of the all-female singing quartet that began at Springfield High in the 50s and 60s... and, he's done it again.
