SHERMAN, CONN. On Friday June 2, The Sherman Players will open PERSONALITY CONFLICTS, written and directed by Dean Alexander.

TheatreWorks New Milford will premiere Ira Levin's thriller, Deathtrap, directed by Robin Frome and featuring Dandy Barrett, Timothy Huber, Lynn Nissenbaum, Jeff Rossman,, and Jeffry Bukowski.

On May 6, TheatreWorks New Milford will open the well-known comedy/thriller, Deathtrap, by Ira Levin. Deathtrap is the story of an aging playwright who desperately needs a hit and concocts a plan to lure to his Connecticut home a young playwright who has written an astounding thriller, then kill him and pass of the play as his own.   But be forewarned,  there are twists and turns ahead. There are murders within murders, plots within plots, and an awful lot of whiskey and gin being consumed.

Rhode Island Stage Ensemble (RISE) delves into the age of gilded romance and strict societal rules with its next production, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, March 16-18 and 23-25.

A New England cottage allegedly contains hidden stolen diamonds and definitely contains mysteriously appearing and disappearing presumably dead bodies. Who will discover the diamonds and make sense of this madness? Which characters may not be who they claim to be?
