Raymond McAnally won over audiences and critics alike in last season's sold-out smash hit Mrs. Mannerly, when he hilariously took on more than a dozen characters from a cutthroat 1960s etiquette class. Now, Mr. McAnally returns to Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, having penned his own autobiographical one-man show where he will once again shift from himself to a myriad of other characters throughout the performance.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced complete casting for its production of Side Show that runs in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from June 14 to July 13, 2014. Side Show features book and lyrics by Bill Russell and music by Henry Krieger, and is directed by Academy Award winner Bill Condon. Sam Davis will serve as musical director and arranger and will conduct the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. The Kennedy Center production of Side Show is produced in association with La Jolla Playhouse. Press opening night is Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

For its annual spring production, The Alden in McLean will present 'Miss Nelson is Missing,' a comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher. Shelton Street Theatrical, LLC, the international stage rights holder to the novel which has sold millions of copies in 25 different languages, has announced plans to launch the play.
