UNDERWATERGUY plays Wednesdays at 7:00 ($15), Thursdays at 7:00 ($15), Fridays at 7:30 ($18), Saturday matinees at 3:00 ($18), Saturday evenings at 7:30 ($20), Sundays at 2:00 ($20).

UNDERWATERGUY is a mixture of HD multimedia visuals, plus live on stage,colorful characters, fascinating stories, original music and much more...

"I love being underwater. Something called to me seven years ago, at age 50, to learn more about free diving, so I took some classes with world champion Martin Stepanek. I was surprised to discover that I have really big lungs! Back in Maine, I started filming in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. I was hooked. Eighty bodies of Maine water later, I've gathered some beautiful HD footage, and my travels have taken me as a far as Hawaii and the Caribbean. This show mixes underwater footage and other visual elements with my own "underwater stories", as told by a number of colorful characters. I've had a lot of fun creating this show. I hope people will drop by the theater and dive in with me..." ~ Steve Underwood

Over the past five years, Steve has filmed in more than 80 of Maine's most pristine lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. In more tropical climates, he has filmed whales, sharks, dolphins, turtles and fish by the thousands. He has done all of this while holding his breath. UNDERWATERGUY is a solo performance celebrating the beauty that awaits us below the surface.

After its initial run at Good Theater, UNDERWATERGUY will join the roster of Good Theater on Tour events that include: LEGENDS: THE MUSIC OF JUDY GARLAND, IS THERE FAT IN THAT, ANCESTRAL VOICES, and BROADWAY BLUES A BERRY NICE STORY. UNDERWATERGUY is the final show in the 2013-2014 season at Good Theater. The season began with the Pulitzer Prize winning CLYBOURNE PARK by Bruce Norris and was followed by A.R. Gurney's THE GRAND MANNER, BECKY'S NEW CAR by Steven Dietz and Bruce Graham's THE OUTGOING TIDE which runs through March 30.
