Everyone once in a while a project is announced that basically sounds fool proof. The latest entry into Kennedy Center's Broadway Center Stage series Next to Normal is definitely one of those projects.
It's been almost twenty years since the last rival of Kiss, Me Kate opened on Broadway, and yet, theatregoers can get a quick glimpse of the last incarnation on the Studio 54 stage today. Roundabout just revealed that costume designer Jeff Mashie included a hat worn by the late Marin Mazzie, in his design for Kelli O'Hara. Mazzie played the role 'Kate/Lilli Vanessi, in 1999.

According to a report on nypost.com, the musical GIANT, which played last month at the Dallas Theater Center, will be heading to the Public Theater in Fall and has potential to transfer to Broadway.
