Avenue Q recently celebrated its 15th Anniversary, with big events such as a concert at Feinstein's/54 Below. In addition, in the weeks leading up to the show's big night, original cast members made appearances in the show. AVENUE Q Extended By Popular Demand at Mercury Theater Chicago

Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Avenue, is pleased to announce the extension of AVENUE Q through November 4, 2018 due to popular demand. After an incredible run in 2004, this lovingly revived Broadway musical is wowing audiences yet again with its relatable humor and heartwarming message.

Standing Room Only and Graceful Productions Present Staged Reading of New Musical CALVIN BERGER

Standing Room Only and Graceful Productions have announced a staged reading of the new musical Calvin Berger at the Hudson Backstage Theatre in Hollywood. With book, music, and lyrics by Barry Wyner and directed by Ovation Award-winner Richard Israel, the Calvin Berger staged reading will be presented on Friday, August 10, and Saturday, August 11, at 8pm and Sunday, August 12, at 7pm. The cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Grace Kaufman, Julia Lester, Jason Eric Testa, and one more actor to be announced. The musical director is Anthony Lucca.

AVENUE Q became an overnight sensation on Broadway in July 2003 following a sold-out engagement and was extended four times after being presented Off-Broadway by Vineyard Theatre and The New Group. Since it roared into the spotlight - with its singular cast of people and puppets including Princeton, Kate Monster, Rod, Nicky, Trekkie, Christmas Eve, Gary Coleman and Lucy T. Slut - opening on Broadway on July 31, 2003, AVENUE Q has given over 6,000 performances, running seven years on Broadway before transferring to New World Stages in 2009, where it continues to play to large and happy houses.

AVENUE Q's Anniversary Celebration Begins Tonight with Jordan Gelber & Ann Harada

AVENUE Q is celebrating its 15th anniversary with two weeks of special unique performances at New World Stages as members of the musical's legendary original Broadway company and other AVENUE Q alumni return to perform beginning tonight with Jordan Gelber (Brian, 2003-09) & Ann Harada (Christmas Eve, 2003-09) and additional alumni continuing through Sunday, July 29, 2018.

AVENUE Q Shares Schedule of Original Cast Members' Return

AVENUE Q will mark its 15th anniversary with two weeks of special unique performances at New World Stages from Monday, July 16 to Sunday, July 29, 2018. Each of the special anniversary shows will feature audience giveaways and a different surprise number in the show by members of the musical's legendary original Broadway company and other AVENUE Q alumni. Well, if that graduate also happens to be a puppet they move to Avenue Q, of course. There he'll find others like him trying to make sense of their 'purpose' in life dealing with careers and relationships.
