The Mabel Mercer Foundation has announced the performers for The 21st New York Cabaret Convention. Among the performers for this celebration of cabaret will be Elaine Stritch and Christine Ebersole.

Tony Award winning star of A CHORUS LINE is regarded internationally as one of Broadway's foremost dancing and singing leading ladies. She began this summer performing in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has just completed her first tour of Australia with MY MUSICAL COMEDY LIFE, before taking it to NY and a sold out crowd at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

The Colony Hotel, which The Palm Beach Post has hailed as 'probably the best place for cabaret on the planet' - announced a star-studded, 10th anniversary season of the hotel's celebrated Royal Room, featuring headliners straight from Broadway and the most sophisticated nightspots in Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Manhattan.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 7, 8, 9, The Mabel Mercer Foundation comes of age by presenting its 21st annual Cabaret Convention at The Rose Theater, Frederick P. Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Performances begin each evening at 6 o'clock, and more than forty exemplary vocalists and musicians are scheduled to appear in three diverse programs.

Gretchen Reinhagen has announced that Saturday, May 1st at 7:30PM will be her final performance of 'Special Kaye: A Tribute to the Incomparable Kaye Ballard' at New York's Metropolitan Room (www.metropolitanroom.com). While she has chosen to end the successful run at the Metropolitan Room, Reinhagen has recently joined the client roster at RNM Representation (www.rnmrepresentation.com), under the direction of Robert Neal Marshall, and will continue to pursue future bookings of 'Special Kaye.'

The doors will open at 8 p.m. each night, with the live music starting at 9 p.m. Food an drink will be available from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. each night.
