Landmark on Main Street presents Maude Maggart in concert on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 8 PM.

The 19th Annual Cabaret Convention will be held Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

The sold-out Christine Ebersole Concert on October 11th was a great evening for concert goers who had opportunity to hear songs from various composers including Rodgers & Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim. Bantering with her pianist, Billy Stritch, about Broadway, politics and other life experiences, Christine charmed her audience with her stunning voice.

Judith Owen, Euan Morton, Klea Blackhurst & Billy Stritch, Tim DiPasqua, and Jeff Harnar return to the Metropolitan Room in the coming weeks. Neile Adams, Gay Marshall and Jill Whelan are among those making their Metropolitan Room debuts.

MAUDE MAGGART, the critically-acclaimed chanteuse - hailed as 'bewitching' by The New York Times, 'utterly enchanting' by the New York Post and 'stunning' by the Los Angeles Times - will return to THE OAK ROOM of THE ALGONQUIN HOTEL for a six week engagement from April 1 - May 10. Her new show, 'Speaking of Dreams,' will feature John Boswell (April 1 - 12) and Lanny Meyers (April 15 - May 10) on piano and Yair Evnine on cello and guitar. Brent Barrett, Diana Canova, Tyne Daly, and David Garrison are all set as guest artists for 'Life Is a Cabaret: A Tribute to Fred Ebb,' to be presented as part of the 92nd Street Y's Lyrics and Lyricists series running February 23-25. Rob Fisher will be the guest artistic and musical director for the evening, which will salute Ebb, the lyricist of such shows as Cabaret, Chicago, Zorba!, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
