Following the sell-out success of LES MISÉRABLES – THE STAGED CONCERT, the longest running concert in the history of Shaftesbury Avenue, Cameron Mackintosh has announced full casting for the re-opening of the new full production of LES MISÉRABLES at the Sondheim Theatre on 25 September 2021.

 Les Miserables - The Staged Concert returned to the stage last night, 20 May. Theatre fans have been so excited to get back to the theatre, and have shown their love for the show on social media.

Cameron Mackintosh has announced full touring dates for the UK and Ireland tour of his production of the Boublil and Schönberg’s “LES MISÉRABLES”. The musical will open at Glasgow Theatre Royal on 24 November 2021 where it has been extended by 2 weeks to run until 1 January 2022, before playing Liverpool Empire (5 – 22 January 2022). Full touring dates have been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of the Boublil and Schönberg's “LES MISERABLES”.

The only production of LES MISERABLES currently playing anywhere in the world is the one on Hale Centre Theatre’s Centre Stage--an all-out spectacle with burnished visuals and vocals. Scene after scene amazes the audience with its artistry, lush lighting reminiscent of stained glass, and immense scale. This is quite possibly one of the most spectacular productions of LES MISERABLES ever staged.

Performances are set to return for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre, beginning 20 May 2021. The production is currently booking to 5 September 2021. 

Following on from a successful Glen Street Theatre season, Noteable Theatre Company (formerly Manly Musical Society) delivers an encore season of it’s 2019 production of LES MISÉRABLES at the larger Chatswood Concourse Theatre.

Performances of Les Miserables: The Staged Concert have been cancelled between 16 – 28 February 2021.

Newly elected senator Jon Ossoff is in the national spotlight this week and so are his tastes in pop culture. A recent NBC News story unearthed a  a tweet from 2013, in which Ossoff recommends a anime version of Les Miserables' 'On Day More.'

Recorded live at the Gielgud Theatre last year with an all-star cast including Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Rob Houchen as Marius, Bradley Jaden as Enjolras, Katy Secombe as Madame Thénardier, Shan Ako as Eponine and Lily Kerhoas as Cosette and an orchestra of over 65.

Tonight, it was reported that due to overwhelming demand the show's producers have announced a two week extension. The initial six weeks of performances have completely sold out.
