At an online media announcement - pre-taped in front of Meridian Hall with physically distanced protocols in place - streamed June 8 on the Dora Awards YouTube channel, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 243 nominations for the 41st annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

Mirvish Productions will remember and honour Victor A. Young's life in the theatre by dimming the marquee lights of the Royal Alexandra Theatre on Tuesday, April 14 at 8 PM.

Toronto's homegrown hit, PIAF/DIETRICH is being extended yet again: two final weeks of performances have been added to the run. The show will now close on Sunday January 5, 2020. The new block of tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday November 20th.

The sheer star power of the two titular women, embodied here by a powerhouse cast and set at major points in each one's personal lives is the kind of complicated, beautiful story of female relationships that the world needs now more than ever.

The Mirvish Theatre has announced its upcoming 2019-2020 season, which will include Girl From The North Country! Following its West End run, as well as its off-Broadway run at The Public, the show has been rumored to come to Broadway this winter.

Though the story may not have entirely appealed to me, the cast was stellar. All four actresses have incredible singing voices with seamingly endless range.

White Christmas is one of those "feel good" shows. There's a guaranteed happy ending, great songs, fantastic dance, and everyone leaves the theatre humming and smiling. What a great gift at Christmas time, on stage at St. Jacobs Country Playhouse!
