The Delray Beach Playhouse announces their 2019-20 Season Subscriptions for the Main Stage Series plays, Musical Memories and Nostalgic Concert Series.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce Music Mondays, the summer concert series for July and August, with all shows at 8 pm.

Musical magic for many of your favorite songs began with Charles Calello, arranger and producer. Calello continues to hold the Billboard magazine record for musical arranger with more Top 10 hits than anyone in the history of pop music. Calello will appear this Saturday at the Port Washington Public Library in advance of his performance Sunday at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (PAC).

The Golden Globe winner returns to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage with more songs from her life and her career, this time joined by a few very special guests. Now joining the previously announced Tony Award winners Joanna Gleason (Into the Woods) and Randy Graff (City of Angels) is the celebrated writer, performer and composer David Rasche (Little Miss Sunshine, Sledge Hammer!).

ISLE of KLEZBOS, the swinging all-women's klezmer sextet, will celebrate their 20th Anniversary with a special concert Isle of Klezbos: Isle of Manhattan! at Joe's Pub on Today, October 25 at 7:00 PM featuring returning guest artist Natalia Zukerman. The band and spellbinding singer-songwriter - whose father, the classical violinist Pinchas Zukerman, is the son of a Polish-born klezmer player - first melded musical minds earlier this year, exploring poignant Yiddish roots and hidden gems from vintage soundtracks, personal histories, vivid resistance narratives, and soulful sounds of liberation. Spreading joy coast to coast this anniversary year, ISLE of KLEZBOS  latest repertoire also features original klezmer bugalu (boogaloo), lesser-known bawdy traditionals, and luscious retakes on irresistible Eastern European swing and tango. Natalia brings vibrant stories and tunes from her powerful multi-media performance, "The Women Who Rode Away," including lush arrangements with backing Klezbos bandmates. On September 11th & 12th, Midland Cultural Centre's 'The Legends of Folk' Series proudly presents JANIS IAN  for an intimate interview and performance. She has been a professional singer-songwriter since the age of twelve. Based in Nashville, she is the recipient of two Grammy Awards and nine Grammy nominations and has also received honours from a host of organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign Fund and MADD. 

Following a productive summer touring schedule which included an appearance at Sister Singers Festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan, multiple community performances in and around greater San Diego, and a standing room only, sold out Pride concert, the San Diego Women's Chorus (SDWC) begins its 2018/2019 singing season this month. the cell (Founding Artistic Director Nancy Manocherian, Artistic Director Kira Simring) will grant four artists each a month-long residency as part of its 2018 season. This new residency program grants selected artists the use of the venue for a month and the resources needed to develop a project of their choice that will be presented at the end of their one-month term.

A new song is out called "We Sing for Martin Luther King," featuring acclaimed musicians Liz Queler on lead vocals, Seth Farber on piano, organ, vocals, and Joey Farber on guitar, bass, and drums, based on lyrics and music written by poet and writer Holly Peppe in 1968. As the date of April 4 th, 2018 marks the 50 th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s passing, Dr. King's inspiring work and dream of peace, unity, social equality and justice continue to remain as important as ever in the struggles facing our nation today.
