Tail! Spin!, the outrageously entertaining verbatim reenactment of four recent preposterous sex scandals, opened last night, October 1 at the Lynn RedgraveTheater at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street). The cast of Tail! Spin! features Arnie Burton (39 Steps, Peter and the Starcatcher), Rachel Dratch ('Saturday Night Live'), Sean Dugan (Next Fall, 'Smash'), Tom Galantich ('House of Cards') and Nate Smith (UCB, FunnyOrDie.com).

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Tony Award-winner Rosemary Harris in the New York premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff. Indian Ink began previews on September 4, and officially opened last night, September 30, at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 46th Street). Famed gossip columnist Liz Smith -- "the Grande Dame of Dish" -- has won countless honors, including an Emmy Award, in her long career. But she's never before been depicted on the stage. In "Theater Boys" -- the new musical comedy by ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa, now playing at the 13th Street Repertory Theater -- she's not only a character in the show, she's the subject of a whole song about her, a rousing fast-boogie simply titled "Liz Smith." That song will also be heard on the show's cast album (sung by Ricky Schroder and the ensemble), being released October 18th.

Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's Pulitzer Prize-winning play YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU just opened last night, September 28, 2014, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), after 32 previews. The production is directed by six-time Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk Award winnerScott Ellis (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Twelve Angry Men, 1776) and will play a 19-week limited engagement.
