As previously reported, a remake of the classic 'A Star is Born,' is moving along in the development process at Warner Bros. Pictures after years of treading water. The most recent rendition, released in 1976 stared Barbra Streisand, Kris Kristofferson and Gary Busey. Previous incarnations have starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March (1937), and Judy Garland and James Mason (1954).
Tony Nominated Actor Donal Donnelly Dies at Age 78

Donal Donnelly, nominated for a Tony Award for his portrayal of Gar Private in the world premiere of Brian Friel's Philadelphia, Here I Come!, passed away on January 4,2010. Donnelly, 78, died from cancer in Chicago, where he has been living for two years.
