Carli Norris and Maggie McCarthy to Star in TURN OF THE SCREW

This spring sees the world premiere of a dynamic new adaptation of Turn of the Screw embark on a UK tour, starring Carli Norris (Pygmalion, Albery Theatre; EastEnders, BBC; Hollyoaks, Channel 4) and Maggie McCarthy (Children of the Sun, Cocktail Sticks and Mother Clap's Molly House, National Theatre; Doctors, BBC; Call the Midwife, BBC/Neal Street Productions; Attack the Block, Film 4; Calendar Girls, Touchstone Pictures). This thrilling production of Henry James' much-loved classic ghost story is faithful to the original and captures its much-celebrated ambiguity.

Chance Theater's 20th Anniversary Season Kicks Off On February 3rd

Chance Theater is thrilled to announce its 20th Anniversary Season, which will be the fourth to employ both stages in its home at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center. Next year will feature eight fully-staged productions, and two workshops and three staged readings of new plays still in development.

Portland Stage Kicks Off 2018 with BABETTE'S FEAST

Portland Stage is pleased to present Babette's Feast, running Jan 23 through Feb 18 on the Mainstage. This production of Babette's Feast was conceived and developed by Portland Stage Affiliate Artist Abigail Killeen in a process that began over a decade ago. The production is made possible by the generous support of Jennifer Carolyn King & Timothy Fredel, the Rugged Elegance Foundation.

Laura Josepher to Direct DEPARTURES at Feinstein's/54 Below

Feinstein's/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, welcomes director Laura Josepher to the creative team of Departures: The Songs of Gualtieri & Sisco. The concert is set for Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 9:30pm and will feature, under Josepher's direction, Ta'Rea Campbell (Hamilton, Sister Act), Alexandra Foucard (Les Mis rables, Guys and Dolls), Amy Justman (Carousel, A Gentleman's Guide ), Kevin Massey (A Gentlemen's Guide , Memphis) and Dennis Stowe (Aladdin, Annie), along with Wagner College Theatre students Alexis Eldredge and Harper Levy on backup vocals.

Casting Announced for Finborough Theatre's 150th Anniversary Play CYRIL'S SUCCESS

During 2018, the Finborough Theatre celebrates 150 years of the Finborough Theatre building with an anniversary selection of the best plays from 1868. The FINBOROUGH150 series opens with the first London production since 1890 of Cyril's Success by playwright and local resident Henry J. Byron playing for nine Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 4 February 2018 (Press Night: Monday, 5 February 2018 at 7.30pm).

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre And ENO Announce Casting For THE TURN OF THE SCREW

The Prologue and role of Peter Quint will be shared by Elgan Ll?r Thomas and William Morgan. Elgan Ll?r Thomas makes his English National Opera debut as a new ENO Harewood Artist having also covered the role of Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville. A 2016/17 Scottish Opera Emerging Artist, credits include The Elixir of Love, and The Trial with other credits including Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Mananan International Festival), Paul Bunyan (Welsh National Youth Opera) and Eugene Onegin (Garsington Opera). He is currently singing in The Barber of Seville with the Theatre des Champs-Elysees.

Shakespeare & Company Announces THE WHARTON COMEDIES

Shakespeare & Company presents A Perfect Pair of Wharton Comedies. Based on short stories originally penned by the Berkshires' legendary Edith Wharton, Roman Fever and The Fullness of Life have been adapted by Shakespeare & Company Founding Member and Training Director Dennis Krausnick. The Wharton Comedies will run at the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre as part of their 2017 season August 17 through September 10.
