Breakout pop group Why Don't We have dropped their twelfth and final new song of 2019, “Chills” available now via Atlantic Records with a Evan Hara-directed video companion. The track – self-penned by the group alongside Michael Pollack (Maroon 5), Michael Matosic (Lauv) and Jake Torrey (Alesso) with production by Earwulf (Zara Larsson) – arrived last week, instantly shooting to #1 on the US iTunes' Overall Songs chart and completing the group's steady flow of monthly new releases over the past year.

If we're being honest, we can probably count on one hand the number of viewers who went to see Tom Hooper's ill-advised movie version of Cats for the music. Andrew Lloyd Webber's music has never really been the appeal of Cats; it's always been the visuals and the brand more than anything that allowed it to become an iconic piece of theatre pop culture. As you probably expect, the soundtrack for the movie does very little new, but dutifully recreates the score with a talented all-star cast.

The film adaptation of the musical Cats brought in less than anticipated at the box office for the film's opening weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, Cats landed at number four overall at the box office, making $6.5 million from 3,380 locations, ranking in the top twenty among worst openings all-time for a film playing in over 3,000 locations. The film received a C+ CinemaScore from opening day audiences and continued to lose momentum from there.
