Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actor Beau Bridges and Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale have joined the SHOWTIME drama pilot MASTERS OF SEX. Bridges will play University Chancellor Barton Scully, William Masters' boss, while Martindale will guest star as Miss Horchow, Masters' very by the book secretary. Directed by Academy Award nominee John Madden ('Shakespeare in Love'), the pilot will begin production in New York next week. Acclaimed actors Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan were recently cast as the leads - 1960's human sexuality pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Actress Caitlin Fitzgerald ("It's Complicated," "Gossip Girl") has also been cast as William Masters' wife Libby. (more...)

B. Biggley, beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2012, for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Mr. Bridges will co-star with Darren Criss (January 3, 2012 - January 22, 2012) and Nick Jonas (January 24, 2012 - July 1, 2012). Beau Bridges will replace 2011 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winner John Larroquette, who will play his final performance along with co-star Daniel Radcliffe on Sunday, January 1, 2012. There will be three performances only, Friday and Saturday July 31 and August 1 at 8:30 pm and Sunday, August 2 at 7:30 pm. Bridges will play Arvide Abernathy, and sings 'More I Cannot Wish You,' an audience favorite from the Frank Loesser score, which includes some of the most popular songs of the era including 'I'll Know,' 'A Bushel and Peck,' 'If I Were A Bell,' 'Guys and Dolls,' and 'Luck Be a Lady.'
