Brooke Wetterhahn joins the cast of NAKED CALLand will now be performing as "Jennifer".  Naked Call, a brand-new play by award-winning playwright, Ken Kaissaris premiering as a professionally staged reading, produced by New Feathers Productions as announced earlier this month. 

Immediately following a near sold-out performance from their December 6th show, New Feathers Productions now announces complete casting of "Naked Call", a featured, full-length premiere by award-winning playwright, Ken Kaissar with direction by Amy Kaissar.  Premiering on stage at the James A. Michener Art Museum December 20th, with a fully clothed cast, actors Michael Gamache reunites with Ken Kaissar after performing in the East Coast tour of Kaissar's play A Modest Suggestion as well as Humility at Philly's Painted Bride Arts Center in which he appeared in the nude.

New Feathers producers, Mandee K. Hammerstein, John Augustine and Greg T. Nanni, proudly announce the featured, full-length, new works reading; NAKED CALL by award-winning, playwright Ken Kaissar.  Naked Call will be professionally produced and presented for one night only and is the featured reading as the successful season concludes at the James A. The Board of The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County announces their pledge to help save Oscar Hammerstein's home, Highland Farm, in Doylestown, PA, the very place where Hammerstein did most of his writing for internationally celebrated works, including Oklahoma!,  Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music.   Each year the A&CC selects an arts-related organization to help support, raise funds and awareness through their arts and marketing resources including the worldwide #GivingTuesday platform.

During rehearsals at producer Mandee K. Hammerstein's home in Bucks County, fellow cast members (Clayton Prince & Joey Perillo) from the 1988 original film 'Hairspray', reunite for the first time in 30-years.  Prince ('Seaweed') and Perillo (Security Guard) exchange fond, movie-making memories, while talking future theatrical goals, all in anticipation of working together again on the New Feathers Production Stage this month.  

CLAYTON PRINCE (Cosby Show, Dark Justice, Hairspray, Cream) and JUDITH LIGHTFOOT CLARKE (How to be Single, Killer, Law & Order) have officially joined the cast in the theatrical new works reading series production, NEW FEATHERS.

NEW FEATHERS PRODUCTIONS producers, Mandee K. Hammerstein, Greg T. Nanni and new addition to the producing team, John Augustine, proudly announce the selected shorts, cast and director for their upcoming series re-launch November 1 at the James A. Michener Art Museum.  First unveiled in 2017, New Feathers' ongoing mission is to professionally produce reading series, dedicated to offering a voice and welcoming forum while showcasing new, literary works by established and emerging playwrights.

On Today, July 12, 2018 at 8 pm, Shoshana Bean from the hit Broadway musical Wicked will perform at the Michener Art Museum as part of the Broadway Cabaret series presented through PNC Arts Alive. Bean's performance is the second of three in the series, following a sold-out performance in June by Norm Lewis. Love conquering prejudice is one of the powerful themes of Rodgers and Hammerstein's memorable musical SOUTH PACIFIC, the second production on Theatre in the Park's (TTIP) 2018 summer outdoor season. TTIP's most often requested musical, SOUTH PACIFIC will have seven performances at the outdoor amphitheater Today through Sunday, June 22-24 and the following Wednesday through Saturday June 27-30. Showtime for all productions is 8:30 p.m. with gates opening at 7 p.m.

Geva Theatre Center's 2017-2018 Fielding Studio Series concludes with the world premiere of Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean. This production features Artistic Director Mark Cuddy in his return to the stage and is directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. The production begins performances on March 15 and runs in the Fielding Stage through April 1.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces five NNPN Rolling World Premieres (RWP): Ready Steady Yeti Go by David Jacobi, Ripe Frenzy by Jennifer Barclay, Apples in Winter by Jennifer Fawcett, The Mermaid Hour by David Valdes Greenwood, and Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean. The five plays will receive a total of 17 NNPN RWP productions, with each play seeing at least three distinct productions in a 12-month period.
