The Metropolitan Opera has announced the launch of The Met: Live at Home, a streaming platform that allows audiences to watch the Met’s acclaimed series of live simulcasts from any device in the comfort of their homes—the latest effort by the company to reach as broad a public as possible.

In collaboration with the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe in Paris, the New National Theatre will present the Japanese premiere of a new production of Tennessee WILLIAM's masterpiece The Glass Menagerie, which had its world premiere in Paris in March 2020.

A Dutch production of Jesus Christ Superstar is headed to the Netherlands in 2024. Directed by Ivo van Hove and produced by Albert Verlinde, the musical will premiere in January 2024 at the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam.

The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live high-definition cinema broadcasts, distributed in the UK by Trafalgar Releasing, will begin its 16th season this October with a live broadcast of Cherubini's rarely performed Medea.  From October 2022 – June 2023, ten incredible performances will be broadcast live from the Met stage in New York to cinemas worldwide.

An unflinchingly unrelentingly brutal production, a Little Life is not for the faint of heart. But it deserves to be seen nonetheless.

Jonathan Groff will star as “Franklin” and Lindsay Mendez will star as “Mary” in Merrily We Roll Along at New York Theatre Workshop. Merrily We Roll Along features music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by George Furth. They join the previously announced Daniel Radcliffe, who will star as “Charley”.
