There is much to love about the Garden Theatre's production of Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE; the cast is breathtakingly talented, the set, lighting, and costume designs are gorgeous, and the live (unseen) band is pitch perfect. Unfortunately, there is one major thing not to love about Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE, and that is Frank Wildhorn's musical BONNIE & CLYDE.

Kokandy Productions is pleased to celebrate its fifth anniversary with an expanded season featuring four fully produced musicals, including two Chicago premieres and two guest directors. The 2017/18 Season will also include numerous readings and workshops - adding fresh voices to Kokandy's "New Works Initiative" and emphasizing the company's commitment to becoming an increasingly relevant part of Chicagoland's musical theater and new work development communities. The new season also marks Kokandy's transition to a not-for-profit organization.

 It's a love story that quickly spirals out of control into crime and violence - leading to only one possible ending.  Pierrot Productions presents "Bonnie and Clyde, The Musical" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre Fridays, June 17 and 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, June 18 and 25 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 19 and 26 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.  A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on June 17.

The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 Theatre Season, running from September 2016 - May 2017.  In addition to the six full-length theatrical presentations, the season will be dotted with weekend events such as music and dance concerts, as well as movies and holiday offerings. Subscriptions will go on sale April 1 for current subscribers, April 15 for new subscribers, and May 1 for single tickets at gardentheatre.org or by calling the Garden Theatre Box Office at 407-877-GRDN (4736).

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, opened their 2015-2016 season with the Los Angeles premiere of the 2011 Broadway musical BONNIE AND CLYDE. The one-night-only concert took place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre, (currently celebrating its 90th Anniversary), on Sunday, September 20th at 7:00 PM. Kicking off their 37th season, The Noel S. Ruiz Theatre at CM Performing Arts Center has mounted a terrific production of the Tony nominated musical Bonnie & Clyde. With a book by Ivan Menchell, this is a 'biographical' story of the two most notorious gangsters. Many themes are touched upon in this story - despite their violent, criminal shenanigans - including true love, the solidarity of family, and unwavering loyalty. Running through September 27th at the Oakdale, Long Island, venue, the show is truly top notch.

The Costa Mesa Playhouse presents Bonnie & Clyde, with music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, and book by Ivan Menchell, tonight, February 6, through March 8, 2015. Continuing their sixth season, the award-winning Slow Burn Theatre Company will present the South Florida premiere of the musical Bonnie & Clyde. The production will run from January 22nd through February 8th at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater on the campus of West Boca Raton Community High School on Glades Road, in Boca Raton, and from February 12th through February 15th at the Aventura Arts & Culture Center in Aventura.

This week, 54 Below is celebrating the music of Frank Wildhorn with some of Broadway's best singers, a reunion of one of his Broadway shows, and songs from a catalog that goes from Whitney Houston to Julie Andrews, from Hootie and the Blowfish to Johnny Mathis, and from Sammy Davis, Jr. to The Moody Blues. The performances on Dec. 5 and 6 starred Leslie Odom, Jr., Brandi Burkhardt, Janet Dacal, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adrienne Warren, and Jane Monheit (12-5 only). Check out photos from the event below!
