The 58th Annual Drama Desk Awards will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 8:00 PM at The Town Hall.

The Drama Desk has announced that on Friday, March 22nd, they will host a sold-out Luncheon/Panel discussion with David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen ('Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike'), Olivier Award-winning Bertie Carvel ('Matilda'), Elizabeth Marvel ('Picnic') and Jane Houdyshell ('Dead Accounts') on 'The Art of Storytelling,' at Sardi's (234 West 44th Street).

On Friday, March 22nd, 2013, please join Award winning Broadway stars David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen ('Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike'); Ellen Burstyn and Elizabeth Marvel ('Picnic') and *Jane Houdyshell ('Dead Accounts') for 'The Art of Storytelling,' this year's Drama Desk Luncheon/Panel Discussion at Sardi's (234 West 44th Street).

David Hyde Pierce will join Ellen Burstyn, Jayne Houdyshell, Elizabeth Marvel and David Strathairn on the Drama Desk's annual Spring Panel Discussion at Sardi's on Friday, March 22, entitled 'The Art of Storytelling.' The discussion will be moderated by Ronald Rand, Drama Desk member and founder/publisher of 'The Soul of the American Actor' Newspaper. The Panel Discussion will run approximately from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM following a luncheon at 11:45 AM.

Drama Desk will present its annual Spring Panel Discussion/Luncheon Friday, March 22, 2013 at Sardi's, 234 West 44th Street, NYC. Entitled "The Art of Storytelling," the panel will explore challenges actors face when bringing stories to life in front of an audience.

The 58th Annual Drama Desk Awards will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 8:00 PM at The Town Hall, it was announced today by Gretchen Shugart, CEO of TheaterMania.com, which will present the awards ceremony. Shugart is managing Executive Producer of Drama Desk Awards. Joey Parnes Productions will produce and manage the show. The President of Drama Desk is Isa Goldberg.

After hearing the outpouring of concern and support for the category, the Drama Desk Executive Board has announced that they will reinstate the category for this year's awards show on June 3 at The Town Hall.
