Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 210th season with the uproarious Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS. Directed by and starring Frank Ferrante, this over-top-top comedy from Tony Winner Ken Ludwig begins previews on January 15th, opens on January 23rd, and runs through March 3rd on the Walnut's Mainstage.
Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce two of the three productions planned for the 2019 Mainstage Summer Season. The first will be the World Premiere of SAFE SPACE, which will run from May 28 - June 16. This new play is by Alan Fox and will be directed by three-time Tony Award Winner Jack O'Brien (The Hard Place, Hairspray, The Coast of Utopia).

Inspired Purpose is bringing the holiday spirit with WHITE CHRISTMAS, playing on December 30th to January 1st.
Westport Country Playhouse presents the acclaimed musical memoir, "The Pianist of Willesden Lane," from December 6 through December 22. The production returns to the Playhouse by popular demand after a sold-out run in April 2017.
Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS is a 2000 musical based on Paramount Pictures 1954 film of the same name featuring the songs of Irving Berlin. The film itself was a remake of the film Holiday Inn. The new book is by David Ives and Paul Blake and features all of the songs from the 1954 film, along with some trunk songs, all by Irving Berlin and hews remarkably close to the plot line of the film, with a few exceptions. It premiered in St. Louis in 2000 at The Muny, after which it opened in San Francisco in 2004. This new stage musical played a limited engagement of 53 performances on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre in 2008. It received two 2009 Tony nominations and seven Drama Desk Award nominations.
The weather outside was indeed frightful, a 70 degree day followed by fitful storms, but White Christmas inside the Firehouse Theatre was, exactly as their curtain speech quipped, simply delightful.
The Naples Players (TNP) ETC Readers Theatre Program present 'An Evening of New Plays', on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Tobye Studio Theater. 'An Evening of New Plays' is an experimental showcase of four original works, which the ETC Volunteer Committee selected through their annual new plays competition to be read aloud onstage in the Tobye Studio Theatre.
