'Message From The Skies 2020' Returns With SHORELINES As Part Of Edinburgh's Hogmanay

From New Year's Day to Burns Night on 25 January 2020, Message from the Skies returns for a free journey of discovery through the streets of Edinburgh, the world's first UNESCO City of Literature. Message from the Skies 2020 - Shorelines, presents a collection of written pieces to Scotland reflecting on our relationship with our seas, waters and coasts and our maritime heritage at the start of Scotland's Year of Coasts and Waters 2020.

Craig Hill Film Season Announced At Edinburgh Filmhouse

Scotland's favourite kilted comedian, Craig Hill is delighted to be the latest celebrity House Guest to have been asked to curate a season of classic films at Edinburgh's iconic Filmhouse cinema. Gareth Nicholls Appointed Interim Artistic Director Of The Traverse Theatre

The Board of the Traverse Theatre has today announced that it has appointed Gareth Nicholls, previously the organisation's Associate Director, to the position of Interim Artistic Director. He will assume the role, working with Executive Producer Linda Crooks, from 5th December, the date on which Outgoing Artistic Director Orla O'Loughlin departs from the organisation to take up the post of Vice Principal and Director of Drama at Guildhall School of Music and Drama full time from the beginning of 2019.

TRAINSPOTTING Announces A New Block Of Tickets On Sale Through October 20

Producers Brass Jar Productions (Drunk Shakespeare) and James Seabright have announced that a new block of tickets is currently on sale for the critically acclaimed, no-holds-barred immersive production of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting Live now through October 20, 2018. Adapted by Harry Gibson and directed by King's Head Theatre Artistic Director Adam Spreadbury-Maher, in collaboration with Greg Esplin, Trainspotting Live inhabits a custom-built immersive performance space at Roy Arias Stages (777 8th Avenue).

Drag Queen Lady Bunny, La Bruja & Trainspotting's Irvine Welsh To Guest In RIOT

Drag Sensation Lady Bunny, Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh, and poet Caridad de la Luz / La Bruja will make special guest appearances in RIOT, the award-winning Irish theatrical extravaganza having its American premiere at NYU Skirball, February 15 - 17 at 7:30 pm. Each guest will bring their own "piece de resistance"  to RIOT'S mix of high art and trash culture, and will be introduced by Panti Bliss, Ireland's most famous Drag Queen and international gay rights activist.
