Polish Cultural Institute Presents A COUPLE OF POOR, POLISH-SPEAKING ROMANIANS

The Polish Cultural Institute, in partnership with East River Commedia, present the New York premiere of Dorota Maslowska's play, A Couple of Poor, Polish-Speaking Romanians. The play opens Wednesday, February 4th prior to an official press opening on February 10 and runs through February 26th, 2011, 8:00 PM at Abrons Arts Center. BACKBEAT Premieres at Citizens Theatre, 2/9

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of BACKBEAT at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. The production will be the onstage premiere of the musical adapation, based on the hit film about the Beatles. The cast will include Isabella Calthorpe and Andy Knott. Also Jamie Blackley, Oliver Bennett, Daniel Healy, Kate Hodgson, Patrick Lannigan, Alex Robertson and Charles Swift. The production will run from February 9th through March 6th.

Who Wants Cake? is thrilled to present its next late night venture, Harry Gibson?s stage adaptation of Irvine Welsh?s Trainspotting. Trainspotting will play for an exclusive four-week run at Ferndale?s The Ringwald Theatre from May 29th through June 22nd. Performances will be Friday and Saturdays nights at 10:00 PM with two 8:00PM Monday performances on June 15th and June 22nd.
