Vicky's of Santa Fe, is the locale for a series of 6 Jazz/Cabaret Supper Clubs. These unique Dinner Concerts headline International Jazz and Cabaret stars from a broad range of the Jazz and Cabaret music worlds, all in an intimate and elegant setting. Starting at 6:30pm with no-host cocktails followed by a 3-course dinner and show.

Mabel Mercer Foundation Announces 25th Anniversary New York Cabaret Convention FOUR MAGICAL NIGHTS, 10/20 - 10/23

After more than two decades of exciting contribution to the New York musical scene, The Mabel Mercer Foundation hits a new high this autumn by producing its 25th annual New York Cabaret Convention for four evenings, October 20th-23rd. All performances begin at 6 o'clock at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Frederick P. Rose Hall at Broadway and 60th Street.

Beginning last night, May 15, Julie Budd premieres "They Wrote the Songs," based on her new CD just out in April. In this show Budd turns a new leaf, focusing on newer songwriters of our generation... at least nothing written before the mid-'60s! The concert version of "They Wrote the Songs" continues for a four-night stint at The Metropolitan Room through Sunday May 18.

There will be a Celebration of legendary theatrical press agent Shirley Herz, on Monday, November 4th at 1:30 pm at the Samuel J Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, NYC. Some of the participants are Jeffrey Alper, Sam Altman, Barry Brown, Jan Buttram, Robert Callely, Tyne Daly, Jane Friedman, Diane Judge, Angela Lansbury, 'Charlotte Moore, Tom Rhoads, Liz Smith, Iris Williams and La Cage aux Folles' Original cast members: Betsy Craig, Dan Grady, Cady Huffman, David Jackson, Eric Lamp, Tom Sesma & Jennifer Smith. Musical accompaniment by Mark Hummel and Don Pippin.
