BWW Review: SING TO ME NOW at Rorschach Theatre
by Pamela Roberts - Oct 25, 2018

Sing to Me Now, produced by Rorschach Theatre, is a beautifully rendered and promising new work, carefully balancing weight and humor, performed by a steady and engaging cast. Director Jenny McConnell Frederick capably brings out the best in the world premiere work by Iris Dauterman. Sing to Me Now was first developed thorough Rorschach's inaugural Magic in Rough Spaces New Play Lab last April, and is now more fully-and beautifully-realized.

BWW Reviews: ONE IN THE CHAMBER Plays at Mead Theatre Lab
by Keith Tittermary - Aug 11, 2015

One In The Chamber, being presented at the Mead Theatre Lab, does attempt to politicize this issue, or attempt to come to a resolution. Rather, the play (first produced last fall in Los Angeles), shows the aftermath of one of these families in a raw and gritty production.

by Andrew White - May 19, 2014

It is the stuff of great drama when people with incredible charm and talent behave like monsters: idealists with a clear vision of the future, leaving human wreckage in their wake. BWW Reviews: WSC Avant Bard's KING JOHN a Rare Theatrical Event
by Andrew White - Nov 17, 2013

If your appetite for Shakespeare's history plays was whetted by PBS's recent series "The Hollow Crown," be of good cheer; King John is now receiving a solid production by the WSC Avant Bard. A rare gem, King John is a must for Shakespeare enthusiasts, not least because the play's complex plot renders it extremely difficult to stage. You will have the rare treat of seeing this unjustly neglected piece in fine form.

BWW Reviews: THE GREAT GATSBY is an Ambitious Undertaking at Bag & Baggage
by Patrick Brassell - Sep 29, 2013

Simon Levy's adaptation is actually a skillful condensation of the events and dialogue of the novel, stitched together with some narration, but this production isn't up to his writing, let alone Fitzgerald's.
