Audience Member Nick Silvestri Offers Apology for #ChargerGate at HAND TO GOD, Hopes to Become 'A Great Theatergoer in the Future'

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, during a recent performance of Broadway's Hand to God, an audience member quietly made his way up on the stage of the hit comedy to plug his cell phone in to what he believed to be a working outlet. That audience member -- Nick Silvestri -- held a press conference outside the Booth Theatre earlier today in regards to the incident on Thursday, July 2. See what he had to say below!

Tickets for the 2015 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY are on sale for the public tomorrow, starting at 11:00am E.S.T. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, which will take place Friday, January 9th, 2015 to Thursday, January 15th, 2015, is an annual event when kids ages 6 to 18 can see participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY ticket includes pre-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more. JUDITH LIGHT a two-time Tony Award winner, will serve as the National Ambassador for the 19th KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY. This year KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY salutes Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, an organization where Light remains a longtime board member. On October 20, 2014, Florence Lacey (Broadway's Follies, Evita and Signature's Sunset Boulevard), Megan Lawrence (Broadway's Hair and Signature's Cabaret), Jacquelyn Piro Donovan (Broadway's Les Miserables and Signature's The Witches of Eastwick), Natascia Diaz (Broadway's Man of La Mancha and Signature's The Threepenny Opera) and Nick Blaemire (Broadway's Godspell and Signature's Glory Days) performed alongside 75 Signature Theatre artists and an 18-piece orchestra as Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre celebrated its 25th Anniversary. With performances from 27 shows over the last 25 years, including Sweeney Todd, The Rhythm Club, Urinetown, The Boy Detective Fails, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Dreamgirls, Chess, and many more.
