Also in the special, MOM's Anna Faris and Academy and Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, THE BIG BANG THEORY's Kunal Nayyar and YOUNG SHELDON's Iain Armitage will join Corden for 'Crosswalk the Musical: The Sound of Music.' Corden and bandleader Reggie Watts will kick off the special with a Bruno Mars-inspired musical number, and Corden will share some of his favorite moments as host of THE LATE LATE SHOW.

According to Variety, the cast for "Big Little Lies" continues to grow.The second season of the HBO drama is bringing back Kathryn Newton as Abigail Carlson, Robin Weigert as Dr. Amanda Reisman, Sarah Sokolovic as Tori Bachman, and Merrin Dungey as Detective Adrienne Quinlan. In addition, Newton and Sokolovic have been upped to series regulars while Dungey and Weigert will recur. Season 2 will also see the additions of Crystal Fox as Elizabeth Howard, and Mo McRae as Michael Perkins. Fox will be a series regular and McRae will recur.

CBS announced today that the hit freshman comedy YOUNG SHELDON is the Network's first renewal for the 2018-2019 broadcast season.

Beginning today, for the next five days fans can stream the premiere episode of YOUNG SHELDON on YouTube with limited commercials in advance of the series' return on Thursday, Nov. 2 on the CBS Television Network.

CBS has given a full season order to new comedy series YOUNG SHELDON, which premiered Monday night, Sept. 25. YOUNG SHELDON was the most watched comedy premiere on any network since 2011

Eight-year-old Iain recently starred in HBO's BIG LITTLE LIES and has appeared on NBC's LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT and the Steve Harvey-hosted kids competition show LITTLE BIG SHOTS. Of course theater fans know him best for his adorable reviews of Broadway shows. Parsons most recently appeared on Broadway in 2015's AN ACT OF GOD. On tonight's EMMY AWARDS, young and old Sheldon Cooper appeared together to present the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. Jim Parsons, who plays Cooper on the CBS series THE BIG BANG THEORY, was joined by Broadway critic Iain Armitage

Top television talent have been added to the list of presenters for the 69TH PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, to be broadcast LIVE from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 17 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM live PT) on the CBS Television Network. In addition, it was announced that Tony Award winner Christopher Jackson (HAMILTON) will perform a touching In Memoriam tribute during the show.
