Exit 82 Theatre Company is bringing Little Shop of Horrors to Downtown Toms River this October with a theme fit for Halloween. 'Television is the source for most information today and we wanted to incorporate that theme into our show. With our new theater space in Downtown Toms River, we allow audiences to be immersed in every performance so when seeing Little Shop of Horrors, you will feel as if you're sitting in an episode of 'The Twilight Zone.' ' says director and Exit 82 co-founder, Billy Cardone.
Trinity Rep Hosts National Theater Leaders

Trinity Repertory Company is hosting the fall meeting of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) this week. One hundred twenty executives and senior leaders from around the country will be meeting at the Omni Hotel from October 17 through 19. LORT is the largest professional theater association of its kind in the United States, with 75 member theaters in every major market in the U.S., including 29 states and the District of Columbia. LORT member theaters collectively issue more Actors' Equity Association contracts than Broadway and commercial tours combined. LORT administers the primary national not-for-profit collective bargaining agreements with Actors' Equity Association (AEA), the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), and United Scenic Artists (USA). LORT Managers from LORT theaters meet twice each year for professional development, networking, and to address LORT business.
Kentwood Players Presents DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID

Kentwood Players presents the play DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and book by Doug Wright based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film. Performances take place at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue in Westchester, CA 90045. There will be a complimentary pre-show champagne and dessert reception between 7:00-7:30pm for season subscribers and their guests attending the Saturday, November 10th. Performance dates are November 9th through December15th on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. In addition, there will be two Saturday matinees at 2pm on December 1st and December 8th.

Dates and show times for this tale as old as time are: Fridays, Nov. 2 and 9 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Nov. 3 and 10 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Nov. 4 and 11 at 2 p.m. (A special daytime show for groups will be presented Monday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m.)

Moonlight Youth Theatre Presents DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

The award-winning Moonlight Youth Theatre invites audiences to be its guest for DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, the Broadway musical version of the now classic 1991 animated feature film, October 12 - 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Vista's Moonlight Amphitheatre. Noted for being a new production each year, the 2018 production has been inspired by a traditional telling of the famed Dickens classic. This year the production will be directed Mark Valdez, who directed Fuente Ovejuna, or Like Sheep to Water at Trinity Rep in 2017.

The Lebanon Community Theatre (LCT) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its spooky fall musical production of Little Shop of Horrors. LCT's take on the rock musical opens on Halloween night, October 31, 2018 at the barn at Stoever's Dam Park in Lebanon. Will Smith took to Instagram today to share the poster from the upcoming live-action adaptation of 'Aladdin.' Smith stars as Genie in the film, and in his caption he proclaims 'LEMME OUT!!' The movie is set to release in summer 2019.
