BWW Previews: MIDLANDS THEATRE ROUNDUP in Columbia, SC 10/18 - Columbia Children's Theatre presents XANADU JR!

OPENING AND CLOSING! Columbia Children's Theatre presents XANADU JR. with book by Douglas Carter Beane and music and lyrics by Jeff Lynne and John Farrar. The production is directed by Julian Deleon, with musical direction by Courtney Reasoner, and choreography by Lisa Sendler, and stars an ensemble cast. XANADU JR. opens Thursday, October 18th at 7:00 PM and runs Friday, October 19th at 7:00 PM, Saturday, October 20th at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and closes Sunday, October 21st, with performances at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and children over 3 and $8 for seniors and active military and can be purchased online or at the door. OPENING AND CLOSING! The NiA Company presents A SONG FOR CORETTA by Pearl Cleage. The production is directed by Darion McCloud and stars Nicole Grant, Kennedy Lawrence, Marilyn Matheus, Brianna Grant, and Loretta Brown. A SONG FOR CORETTA opens Thursday, October 18th at 7:00 PM and runs Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th at 7:00 PM and closes Sunday, October 21st, at 3:00 PM. CLOSING! The South Carolina Shakespeare Company presents MACBETH by William Shakespeare. The production is directed by Linda Khoury and stars Christofer Cook, Katie Mixon, Darion McCloud, Christopher Harvey, Tracy Steele, Mary Miles, Marshall Spann, Allison Allgood, Janet Kile, George Dinsmore, Ripley Thames, Malie Heider, and Mary Jeffcoat. Scenic design by Lee Shepherd. Lighting design by Rufus Carson. Costume design by Janet Kile. MACBETH runs at 8:00 PM nightly Wednesday, October 17th through Saturday, October 20th.
