“CMA Country Christmas” is set to air Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9/8c on the ABC Television Network. Trisha Yearwood hosts and performs during the holiday special. In addition to Yearwood, the all-star lineup includes Dierks Bentley, Kristin Chenoweth, for KING & COUNTRY, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young coming together for a joyful night filled with Christmas classics and one-of-a-kind collaborations to celebrate the holiday season.

It was a night that celebrated the best in Country Music through riveting performances, heartfelt speeches and poignant tributes at “The 53rd Annual CMA Awards.”

With early praise from ELLE, Billboard, NYLON and more for her raw and relatable storytelling, Nashville songwriter and singer Emily Weisband has today released her debut EP Identity Crisis, out now on Warner Records. Emily has written for or with pop superstars like Camila Cabello, BTS and Halsey, Noah Cyrus; Christian mainstays such as Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey; country's finest in Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill; and already has a GRAMMY® Award to her name as co-writer of “Thy Will” for Hillary Scott and The Scott Family. Vevo announces the release of Lady Antebellum's live performance of 'Pictures.' Lady Antebellum blend contemporary country with soulful 60's R&B into an infectious brew that relies on the trio's rich harmonies and impeccable instrumental skills. The trio was formed in 2006 by Charles Kelley (brother of singer/songwriter Josh Kelley), Hillary Scott (daughter of Grammy-winning country artist Linda Davis), and Dave Haywood, and soon graduated from dive bars to the Grand Ole Opry. 

Nashville singer and songwriter Emily Weisband has shared her new song “Naked,” laying bare her own insecurities with a fearless candor that perfectly captures how we've all felt at one time or another. On “Naked” – co-written with Kyle Shearer (Dua Lipa, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Emily's close friend and fellow artist Delacey – Emily is trapped in a vise of self-doubt, pleading to know, “Does she look better than me naked?” 

Winners have been announced for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, which aired LIVE earlier this evening, hosted by iconic entertainer and 16-time ACM Award® winner, Reba McEntire,  on the CBS Television Network from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The ACM Awards named Keith Urban as Entertainer of the Year, his first win in the category and the evening's biggest honor. With this win, he will receive the prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award, as he previously received awards for New Male Vocalist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.

ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the world leader in performing rights and advocacy for music creators, is convening a roster of top female songwriters, producers, artists and engineers for its first “She Is The Music” Song Camp, including the Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated Mary J. Blige. Hit producer and music executive Ron Fair is donating his Faircraft Studio in Nashville for the event, which will take place October 17 - 19.

In a year of celebrating the achievements of women in country music, CMT today announced that Loretta Lynn will be honored with the “Artist of a Lifetime” award presented by Ram Trucks at this year's all-female “CMT Artists of the Year” event premiering live Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Academy Award winner and “Coal Miner's Daughter” actress Sissy Spacek will bestow the award to Lynn, who joins previous recipients of the honor including Shania Twain (2016), Kenny Rogers (2015), and Merle Haggard (2014).

In recognition of the undeniable influence and impact of female artists in country music, CMT today announced that for the first-time ever the annual “CMT Artists of the Year” special is dedicated to the women of country music—past, present and future. This year's all-female “Artists of the Year” celebration will honor CarrieUnderwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. ACM and CMA Award winning country music star Sara Evans spent the weekend performing in the southeast, wrapping up CMT's 4th annual Next Women of Country Tour. “CMT Next Women of Country presents Sara Evans All The Love Tour featuring RaeLynn and Kalie Shorr” launched in February in New York City with fifteen shows from coast to coast. Special guests RaeLynn (“Lonely Call,” “Love Triangle”) and Kalie Shorr(“Fight Like A Girl,” “Two Hands”), both part of CMT's “Next Women of Country's” impressive roster of artists, were surprised onstage at Saenger Theater (Mobile, AL) where Sara presented them with a custom plaque at the final show, commemorating the tour's success. The Country Music Association held a press conference this morning to announce the 2018 inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame-Johnny Gimble, Ricky Skaggs and Dottie West.

This week, the CMA Foundation partnered with award-winning songwriters Nicolle Galyon and Emily Weisband and Country artist Danielle Bradbery to visit schools and surprise students and teachers throughout Kansas. The critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank also hosted a show Tuesdayevening, Feb. 20, at Wichita's Crown Uptown Theatre featuring all three songwriters.
