In news recently reported, the 2018-2019 season will be Zeitgeist Stage Company's last, after seventeen years of notable productions as an acclaimed stalwart of the Boston fringe theater scene. Artistic Director David J. Miller has never shied away from plays that deal with controversial or highly charged political subject matter, and he is not about to change now. For his penultimate production, Miller directs the New England premiere of Jon Robin Baitz's VICUÑA, a searing takedown of the current administration and its take-no-prisoners march from the nomination to the election.

Casting has been announced for the Columbus engagement of Disney's Aladdin. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances at the Ohio Theatre beginning Wednesday, October 24, for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 4.

The Broad Stage presents Pacifico Dance Company onSaturday, October 20 at 11:00 am with a family program titled Mexico, de Tierra d Mar. Dedicated to the performance and preservation of traditional Mexican dance, the company's joyous performances incorporate Mexican folklore and religion.  All family programs at The Broad Stage feature pre-show activities, one hour before curtain.

Actors' Playhouse announces the complete cast of the world premiere musical HAVANA MUSIC HALL at Actors' Playhouse this fall in Miami, Florida. 1st Annual California Jazz & Blues Museum Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony Fundraiser and Barbara Morrison's Birthday Celebration Concert, a fundraiser for the Museum to develop their digital arts program, to introduce basic coding, Android development, organizational structures, basic computer competencies and create an interactive section in the Museum which will give visitors an open source digital portal to the vast historical collection of Jazz & Blues available at the Museum and throughout Los Angeles.  The museum's goal is to raise $25,000.00.  The purpose of the Inductee Ceremony is to recognize local, national and international Jazz & Blues legends for their contributions to the music industry.
