MELBOURNE OPERA will stage Don Giovanni (The Rake Punished) from 26 April to 3 May at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne, offering a timely interpretation of the classic opera.

Bursting with much-loved music, Gilbert and Sulivan's operetta has long remained a crowd favourite with classics including ‘I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General', ‘Poor Wandering One' and ‘I am the Pirate King'.

Invulnerable Nothings’ new play GALATEA 2.0 written by Sophie Dushko finished its initial run at the Brooklyn Art Haus over the weekend. The production was directed by Facilitating Artistic Director C.C. Kellogg who also directed last year's sold out, critically acclaimed production of All the Mournful Voices. GALATEA 2.0 was co-presented by Brooklyn Art Haus, and ran from July 6 to July 23.

Charlotte's Off Broadway presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Confidence (and The Speech), the new play, written by Susan Lambert Hatem and directed by Hannah Ryan (Hamilton, An American in Paris) which is playing a limited engagement at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street – between 9th & 10th Avenues). 

Following rumors that the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, would have multiple sequels, screenplay writer of the franchise, and original Harry Potter author, J.K Rowling has confirmed via Twitter that the series will have five parts. Rowling is slated to write the screenplays for all five films. According to her Twitter, she is currently polishing the second installment. Check out the original tweets below!
