BWW Review: PARAGON PARK: THE MUSICAL: One Last Ride on the Carousel
by Nancy Grossman
- Jul 30, 2019
With book by Zoe Bradford and Michael Hammond, and music and lyrics by Adam Brooks, PARAGON PARK: THE MUSICAL is a lovingly-crafted reflection of a moment in time that spans eight decades. There's more than enough small town politics, quirky characters, and human interest in the overstuffed book, but the music soars on the voices of an uber-talented ensemble and a 15-piece orchestra conducted by Musical Director Steve Bass.

In a bizarre and unfortunate case of life imitating art, Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston found itself without its leading man only hours before the curtain going up on their season-ending production of 42nd STREET. Producing Artistic Director Robert J. Eagle announced that the understudy would step into the role and the show opened as scheduled. BWW Review: Crazy For CRAZY FOR YOU
by Nancy Grossman
- Aug 9, 2016
Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston brings back the original sets, costumes, and choreography for its fourth production of the 1992 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical. CRAZY FOR YOU could be subtitled "Gershwin's Greatest Hits," with eighteen musical treats splendidly played by a 15-piece orchestra conducted by Music Director Dan Rodriguez. Broadway veterans and Reagle audience favorites Kirby Ward (Director) and Beverly Ward star and give a song-and-dance master class that will have you tapping your feet right along with them. CRAZY FOR YOU is a classic 1930s musical comedy, full of energy and optimism. It's just what the psychiatrist ordered!
