Holmdel Theatre Company will kick off their 2021 Broadway Outside the Barn series with NICHOLAS RODRIGUEZ: The First Time... on Saturday, April 24th at 7 PM ET. Making his Holmdel debut, the Broadway actor (Tarzan) will perform his acclaimed solo show to a socially distanced audience outside the Duncan Smith Theater.

The american vicarious and The Invisible Dog Arts Center will present the world premiere of Negative Liberty / Positive Liberty, a socially distanced performance installation exploring famed British philosopher Isaiah Berlin's historic 1958 lecture/essay: Two Concepts of Liberty: Negative & Positive.

Rhymes Over Beats Hip Hop Theater Collective is premiering its third new play for Black History Month, Rodney Hick’s MS. PEARL’S CABARET, as part of CreateTheater’s Monday Night Reading Series on Monday, February 22 at 7PM/EST, 4PM/PST. This Zoom reading is directed by DeMone Seraphin. The reading will  stay available to the public until Friday, February 26.

The Spring 2021 Season offers three moving, one-person performances: Colman Domingo’s A Boy and His Soul, directed by Craig Wallace; Lucy Alibar’s Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up, directed by Round House Artistic Director Ryan Rilette; and Young Jean Lee’s We’re Gonna Die, directed by Paige Hernandez.
