The Lion King celebrates its 26th anniversary on Broadway today, Monday, November 13th.  

The 14th Annual Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2023 nominations have been announced, with artists like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake, and Metro Boomin receiving nominations. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Alan Menken, The Little Mermaid, Theater Camp, and more are coming nominees for this year's awards.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Segerstrom Center for the Arts announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10 AM.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway in Portland announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 2 at 10 a.m. 

The singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, label owner, and soundtrack composer releases the EP on Enci Records. The video for “Dead End Street” follows the characters that were first introduced in the video for the title track earlier this year and built on by last month’s video for “Love Somebody Else.”

The album contains songs that are performed by the actors from the film including Luke Evans, Jessie Buckley, Fra Fee, Trevor Dion Nicholas and more.  Produced by Timeless Films in association with Axis Studios and directed by Stephen Donnelly, Charles Dickens’ ageless legend is reborn in this musical adaptation of the Christmas story.

The album is a personally curated collection of tracks from the last ten years of Johnny’s solo career plus two brand new songs produced by Johnny Marr with his co-producer James Doviak, titled “Somewhere” and “The Answer.” Released now, “Somewhere” arrives with immediate anthemic magnetism, offering an exciting glimpse of a future fan favorite.

Imagine Dragons and record label Interscope have teamed up director FILFURY and Untold Studios for a new video. The video’s creative concept is inspired by the hit Xbox action RPG Starfield. Imagine Dragons released ‘Children of the Sky’ in collaboration with Starfield composer Inon Zur and Bethesda Game Studios to celebrate the launch of the game.

South Bay Wind Ensemble will begin its  2023/2024 season with 'Frankenstein: Alive in Concert' on October 28, 2023 at 7 p.m. The classic 1931 film has sound and dialog, but no music. So now, South Bay Winds are providing the music with a 2002 score by composer Michael Shapiro.
