The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced the appointments of three new members to the orchestra: Elyse Lauzon to the position of fourth horn; Ashley Park to the position of first violin; and Jung Eun Kang to the position of second violin, effective immediately.

The New York Pops announces the appointment of Donnovan Andrews, founder of HumanWorks, and Anthony V. Thompson, Financial Advisor and Principal at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, to its Board of Directors, in addition to its appointment of current Board member John Gardner as Treasurer of the orchestra's Board. Gardner, currently Entrepreneur in Residence at Acrew Capital, has been on the Board since 2014.

This spring, the Madison Theatre at Molloy College raises a toast to entertainment with Cocktail Hour: The Show, by New York City-based dance company Ballets with a Twist. The performance will take place on Friday, April 1, at 8:00pm, and will feature the stage premiere of Mirage, a four-part suite safely choreographed, rehearsed, and produced for film between pandemic-induced lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

Multi-million selling recording artist Sam Harris debuts his latest show Sam Harris: Openly Gray on the West Coast at the Catalina Bar & Grill March 25th and 26th. I had the opportunity to pose a few questions to this popular and very talented cabaret performer/writer.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present an evening with acclaimed pianist Timo Andres in his Los Angeles recital debut at The Wallis on Thursday, April 7, 2022, 7:30 pm, in The Wallis’ Bram Goldsmith Theater.

On Saturday, March 19, Marc-André Bougie will conduct the New York premiere of his own Requiem. This premiere is to take place during the first concert for MidAmerica Productions at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage since 2019.

Tonight, March 10, 2022, the concert production of MasterVoices' performance of Anyone Can Whistle, takes the stage at ​​​​​​​ Carnegie Hall. The performance will star Vanessa Williams, who performed in the 2002 Broadway revival of Sondheim's Into the Woods and the 2010 revue Sondheim on Sondheim, in the role of a corrupt mayor of a small economically depressed American town.

On Monday evening March 14, 2022, the award-winning Venezuelan American soprano Maria Brea joins forces with pianist Max Lifchitz for an intimate recital featuring music from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the US.

The Oratorio Society of New York, led by Music Director Kent Tritle, is presenting the 45th Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition Finals Concert at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:30pm.

On Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 7:30pm, Aspect Chamber Music Series presents multiple GRAMMY Award-nominated violinist Philippe Quint in the highly-anticipated New York premiere of Philippe Quint in Charlie Chaplin's Smile with pianist Jun Cho, in celebration of Chaplin's 133rd birthday.

On March 31 at 7:30 p.m. in Zankel Hall, Carnegie Hall in association with Music Kitchen–Food for the Soul w ill present Forgotten Voices, a composite song cycle written by top emerging and established composers with text created by homeless-shelter participants set to music.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored the great Chit Rivera at its 2022 Gala 'Paint the Town' at the Ziegfield Ballroom in New York City. The evening celebrated Ms. Rivera's contribution to the theater and include the presentation of The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.
