PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Begins Performances Tonight at New World Stages

Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time TonyAward-winning play, will begin performances tonight, March 18, 2013 at New World Stages. The cast includes returning Broadway cast members Rick Holmes, now playing Black Stache, Jason Ralph, now playing Boy, along with Kevin Del Aguila as Smee, Matt D'Amico as Slank, and Evan Harrington as Alf, all reprising their roles. They are joined by Nicole Lowrance (Molly), Edward Baker-Duly(Lord Aster), Josh Grisetti (Fighting Prawn), Alex Hernandez (Captain Scott), Nate Miller (Ted), Andrew Mueller (Prentiss), Jon Patrick Walker (Mrs. Bumbrake),Jordan Geiger, Joanna Howard, and Graham Stevens.

Theatreworks USA presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the new children's musical SKIPPYJON JONES, the featured production of its 24th Annual Free Summer Theatre Program. SKIPPYJON JONES began performances on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). Performances continue through Friday, August 17, 2012. Snorks and Piñs Presents ROMEO AND JULIET at NYC Community Gardens, 6/16-30

From June 16th to June 30th, New York Restoration Project will be hosting Snorks and Piñs in their community gardens in the South Bronx, East Harlem and Bedford-Stuyvesant, to raise community awareness of these wonderful spaces and to welcome all neighbors to their gardens.

Spandex, a new musical set amidst the blistering world of the 1980's aerobics movement, will have its debut reading for industry tonight, June 14th, at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette Street).

On Monday, June 25, 2011, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly platform, now in its 4th year, for emerging musical theatre writers at The Duplex (the series usually plays the Daryl Roth D-Lounge, by will play The Duplex for the summer). Featured writers for the July 25th installment include Mark Sutton Smith (Stand By The River), and Daniel Green. Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Karen Marshall.
