AVENUE Q Partners with Pride to Benefit Point Foundation

The Tony Award winning and coming of age musical comedy, Avenue Q, will celebrate NYC PRIDE WEEKEND by donating $25 for every ticket purchased to Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit.

Zachary Noah Piser (Wicked), Elena Wang (Allegiance) and Karl Josef Co (Pacific Overtures) will lead the first full industry presentations of TIANANMEN, a new musical directed by Stafford Arima (Allegiance, Altarboyz) and written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola (off-Broadway's STRAIGHT) with musical direction by Rodney Bush. The readings will be held on April 27th and 28th in midtown.

This Thursday's show included a performance by the Broadway-bound cast of Holiday Inn. Cast members for the event included, Ben Durocher, Jason Jacoby, Elizabeth Ann Berg, GRACE CHOI, and Kerri Bracken performing the numbers, 'If You Were Gay', 'There's a Fine, Fine Line', and 'The More You Ruv Someone.'

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, August 4 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.
