The Tony Award Winning Avenue Q proudly announces its participation and observation in celebrating WORLD PUPPETRY DAY with special promo ticket offer.

The Off-Broadway musical Avenue Q with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and direction by Jason Moore will offer patrons a $30.00 ticket option when accompanied to the Box Office by a puppet one hour prior to showtime.

AVENUE Q performs eight times a week at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street in NYC) and presents this special offer to all performances on Monday, March 20th throught Sunday, March 26th 2017. Free lap seating will be offered to all puppets! Tickets are also available in advance for $45.00 all week long using the code: AQWPD17.

Please note: Regular tickets range from $75.50 to $97 with a $2 facility fee included in all ticket prices. This offers is only valid for performances on Monday 3/20/17 through Sunday 3/26/17 only, and service charges apply to all online and phone orders. AVENUE Q is the Tony Award winning musical featuring a cast of people and puppets, now in its 14th year on stage in NYC and around the globe. Avenue Q is the hilarious and internationally acclaimed musical about a group of 20-somethings - people and puppets alike - who move to New York with big dreams and tiny bank accounts. Together they live as neighbors on a rundown block in New York City as they try to discover their purpose in life. The musical's characters include Princeton, Kate Monster, Trekkie Monster, Lucy The Slut, Nicky, Rod, Gary Coleman,the Bad Idea Bears, Brian and Christmas Eve.

Prior to its current engagement Off Broadway at New World Stages, Avenue Q played 2534 performances on Broadway at the Golden Theatre.

AVENUE Q has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, book by Jeff Whitty, and is directed by Jason Moore. Based on an original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, with puppets conceived and designed by Rick Lyon, Avenue Q has musical supervision by Stephen Oremus, choreography by Ken Roberson, scenic design by Anna Louizos, costume design byMirena Rada, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and sound design by ACME Sound Partners. Musical director is Rick Bertone. Animation design is by Robert Lopez, incidental music is by Gary Adler, casting is by Cindy Tolan. Christine M. Daly is Production Stage Manager.

The current cast of Avenue Q includes Ben Durocher, Elizabeth Ann Berg, GRACE CHOI, Jason Jacoby, Nicholas Kohn, Danielle K. Thomas, Kerri Brackin, Jed Resnick, Katie Boren, Michael Liscio, Jr. and Imari Hardon.

AVENUE Q became an overnight sensation on Broadway in July 2003 following a sold-out engagement -- extended four times -- presented Off-Broadway by Vineyard Theatre and TheNew Group.
