Art Falco and Gina Vernaci announced today the promotion of Patricia Gaul to executive vice president and general counsel, and the promotions of Tim Birch, David Greene, Autumn Kiser and Michelle Ryan Stewart to senior vice president. All are effective January 28, 2019.

Playhouse Square announced today that Gina Vernaci has been promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer (COO), effective October 1. Vernaci joined the organization in 1984 and has been serving as its executive producer since 2014.

Disney's FROZEN, the Tony®-nominated Best Musical, will bring its North American tour to Cleveland as part of the 2019-2020 KeyBank Broadway Series at Playhouse Square in the summer of 2020.

A crowd of 2800+ filled the Connor Palace this evening, as Playhouse Square unveiled the seven shows that will be featured in their highly-anticipated 2018-2019 KeyBank Broadway Series. The annual season announcement and launch party featured a variety of performances and appearances from various Broadway artists. Performances by cast members from the 2018 North American Tour of MISS SAIGON and COME FROM AWAY had audience members on their feet, and the evening's special guests included Beverley Bass, the real-life pilot featured in COME FROM AWAY, and Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, whose real childhood story is brought to life in the musical A BRONX TALE.  

The KeyBank Broadway Series 2018-2019 season will begin with the premiere of the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical revival of HELLO, DOLLY! starring Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley in the title role.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the multi platinum-selling Grammy and Tony nominated singer-songwriter, New York Times best-selling author, and the composer and lyricist of Waitress Sara Bareilles, will make her Broadway acting debut on March 31 in the lead role of Jenna Hunterson for a limited engagement of 10 weeks, through June 11, 2017.

It was an exciting evening at the State Theatre, where a capacity crowd heard Gina Vernaci, architect of the Key Bank Broadway series, announce the 2017-2018 season.

Mamai Theatre Company announces its 2017 summer season will take place in downtown Cleveland at Playhouse Square in the Helen Rosenfeld Lewis Bialosky Lab Theatre. Mamai Board of Directors President David Schiopota states, "The steady and unfaltering work of Co-Artistic Directors Bernadette Clemens and Christine McBurney to fulfill their vision and follow their artistic passions has enthused Northeast Ohio audiences and pushed the bounds of classical theatre in Cleveland. Producer Jeffrey Seller and Playhouse Square are thrilled to announce the national tour of Hamilton will be coming to Cleveland as part of the 2017-18 KeyBank Broadway Series. In light of the historic celebration planned for the city of Cleveland tomorrow, Playhouse Square has rescheduled the Wednesday, June 22 performances of The Phantom of the Opera and Steel Magnolias. There will be no performances at Playhouse Square on June 22 and the Playhouse Square offices will be closed.
