Playhouse Square announced today that Gina Vernaci has been promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer (COO), effective October 1. Vernaci joined the organization in 1984 and has been serving as its executive producer since 2014.

In light of the historic celebration planned for the city of Cleveland tomorrow, Playhouse Square has rescheduled the Wednesday, June 22 performances of The Phantom of the Opera and Steel Magnolias. There will be no performances at Playhouse Square on June 22 and the Playhouse Square offices will be closed.
