PlayhouseSquare announces today its entire seven-show line-up for the 2011 - 2012 KeyBank Broadway Series at PlayhouseSquare.

Dates have been announced for the Cleveland's return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare on June 22 through July 17.

As PlayhouseSquare readies for its 2010-2011 season, East 14th Street is poised to welcome new life and activity to the downtown neighborhood.

PlayhouseSquare honored Broadway producer Kevin McCollum with its highest award, the PlayhouseSquare Star Award for Achievement in the Performing Arts, at its annual Chairman's Dinner last night. Past honorees include legendary composer Marvin Hamlisch and Disney Theatricals President Thomas Schumacher.

One of Cleveland's most popular musicals, WICKED, will return to PlayhouseSquare November 18 - December 13, 2009 as part of the U.S. Bank Star Performance Series at PlayhouseSquare. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale to the public Friday, August 21.

In celebration of WICKED's return to PlayhouseSquare tonight, November 18, the venue will be hosting a Young Professionals Night on Friday, December 4. Professionals ages 21 - 40 are invited to enjoy free valet parking, compliments of Lexus, at the Wyndham Cleveland hotel and a pre-show cocktail in the Wyndham's Blue Bar before watching the evening performance. After the show, the group is invited to come back to the Wyndham for the exclusive, limited access 'Defying Gravity' post-show party, sponsored by Seagram's escapes, with WICKED cast members in the 14th floor presidential suite. The post show party also includes complimentary cocktails and appetizers.

This production of the classic, Tony Award® winning musical gives Cleveland audiences a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Jerome Robbins' original Broadway direction and choreography, complete with the original West End production and 1971 film's star, CHAIM TOPOL, in the role of Tevye.

PlayhouseSquare and the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music (B-W) are partnering to present the first regional premiere of [title of show], May 1-3 at the 14th Street Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. The show will feature current students in the Baldwin-Wallace Music Theatre Program under the direction of nationally acclaimed director Victoria Bussert, head of the music theatre program at B-W. This will be the second year that the multi-tiered collaboration between PlayhouseSquare and the Baldwin-Wallace Music Theatre Program as well as the Arts Management Program will occur.
