Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present the return of the PUERTO RICAN MASTERS with Director Isidro Infante featuring three legends of salsa: Ismael Rivera Jr., Pedro Brull and Jose Mangual Jr., joined on stage by Hector Tricoche and Viti Ruiz of the new generation of salsa with a special appearance by Yolanda Rivera on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at 8pm. The Puerto Rican Masters are a select group of the greatest stars of classic and contemporary salsa of the last forty years. The Orchestra, led by Maestro Isidro Infante, is composed of some of the best Puerto Rican musicians resident in New York City. Produced by Lehman Center and Leo Tizol.

With over 100 events in 10 venues throughout New York City, the 2016 Blue Note Jazz Festival will take place June 1-30. ENCUENTRO NYC Colombian Music festival, founded by musicians Pablo Mayor and Anna Povich de Mayor, celebrates its 12th anniversary with a six hours of back-to-back performances at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street. NYC) tonight, November 14th, 4-10pm.  More than 50 musicians will be on stage performing for six hours the variety of rhythms and genres of Colombian music.

During the second night of the Final Phase of TELEMUNDO's “La Voz Kids” (The Voice Kids), the 18 finalists were once again welcomed to the stage at Universal Orlando Resort by hosts Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal, and their Coaches Daddy Yankee, Natalia Jimenez and Pedro Fernandez. 12-year-old Dominican singer and second season winner Amanda Mena returned to the stage for the premiere of “Alma Gemela” (Soulmate), her first single under Universal Music Latin Entertainment, the recording contract granted as part of her winning prize. The 18 finalists also joined her on stage to perform “Uptown Funk” (Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars).  Following the show, the music video of Amanda's “Alma Gemela”, premiered on “Suelta la Sopa Extra.”

The voting results from the first night of the Final Phase were revealed, and six contestants went home after heartbreaking goodbyes, and twelve "voices", six males and six females, remain in the competition.

Five-time Grammy Award winner Gilberto Santa Rosa makes his debut at the Kimmel Center in Verizon Hall, as part of the Philly ¡En Vivo! concert series on Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m. The “Gentleman of Salsa” brings more global Latin flavors to Philadelphia with salsa and bolero top hits such as “Que Alguien Me Diga.” A post-show salsa party, sponsored by GOYA, will feature DJ Rumbero spinning salsa classics will take place in the Commonwealth Plaza following the performance.
