Music Theater Works announced the cast and creative team for WEST SIDE STORY, directed by Sasha Gerritson with choreography by Clayton Cross and Isa Ramirez, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. All performances include Spanish supertitles.
Music Theater Works will cast RuPaul’s Drag Race alum and drag performer Mrs. Kasha Davis as Edna Turnblad in its production of HAIRSPRAY. The production will take place in the George Van Dusen Theatre at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie.
Mrs. Kasha Davis will star as “Edna Turnblad” in its upcoming production of Hairspray, directed by Keely Vasquez, choreographed by Reneisha Jenkins and music directed by Linda Madonia.
Music Theater Works will close its 2025 season with a new production of Annie, running December 18, 2025 through January 4, 2026, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts.
