South Bay Musical Theatre (SBMT) has announced the complete cast and creative team for COMPANY, the Tony® winning musical comedy by Stephen Sondheim, with book by George Furth.

La conferencia que ha tenido lugar en el teatro, significaba el acto de apertura de la gran semana de la tecnología en Málaga, la primera Mobile Week de la ciudad.

Including beloved songs by Stephen Sondheim like 'Being Alive,' 'Another Hundred People,' 'The Ladies Who Lunch,' and 'Getting Married Today,' and a side-splitting book by George Furth, COMPANY is a true gem of musical theatre. You'll find it hard not to relate with Bobby and his friends as they hold a magnifying glass to relationships and marriage, with tongues planted firmly in cheeks.

Después de la reciente noticia del fallecimiento del compositor Stephen Sondheim este última semana, hoy en ART ON STAGE llega este homenaje al autor. Este es un espacio creado por Zebra (@pantalonesdezebra) para recordar la importancia de ciertas producciones gracias al dibujo. Este Broadway Baby se enamoró del género gracias a su mentor Oscar Hammerstein II, que a su vez había revolucionado el musical en la época dorada de Broadway con SHOW BOAT primero y luego con OKLAHOMA! Con esta influencia y con este amor por el detalle Sondheim dio un vuelco a lo que se había hecho hasta entonces infundiendo sentido a cada palabra de sus obras, haciendo que sus personajes tuviesen tanta complejidad y tanta vida sobre el escenario que el público se sentiría identificado con sus problemas y tribulaciones.

Mirroring the revival's first preview just a few weeks back, the night started with a pre-performance speech from director Marianne Elliott where she brought the full cast of Company to the stage. The cast, creative team and crew dedicated both the performance and the run to composer Stephen Sondheim.

Today, the rush policy for the Broadway production of Company was announced ahead of preview performances resuming on Monday, November 15 ahead of the official opening night of Thursday, December 9, at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street).
