Set your DVRs, fans of The Band's Visit! David Yazbek will appear on Christiane Amanpour's show, 'Amanpour,' to discuss the musical.

Producer Neal Rubinstein announced today that the Broadway-aimed new musical DANGEROUS will receive upcoming presentations this spring. On Monday, March 19, the cast of DANGEROUS will perform the songs of DANGEROUS in concert at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South) at 8pm.

Producers announced today Obie Award Winner Dariush Kashani (Oslo) will join the best reviewed Broadway show of the season, THE BAND'S VISIT, as 'Tewfiq' on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

This afternoon at TEDxBroadway, composer David Yazbek took to the stage to perform a number from his current hit Broadway musical, The Band's Visit. Check out the video below to see David put his own spin on 'Haled's Song About Love' for an excited crowd.

Just last night, Atlantic Theater Company presented their Annual Gala at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue). Composers' Choice paid tribute to celebrated composers of the stage with a fabulous evening of unexpected songs, honoring Orin Wolf, John Styles, and John Hart for their contribution to American musical theater.

The Actors Fund announced today that The Band's Visit has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

Ghostlight Records will celebrate the release of the original Broadway cast recording of THE BAND'S VISIT, the best reviewed musical of the season, with an exclusive in-store performance and fan photo-op at Barnes & Noble on the album's release date, Friday, February 23 at 4:00 PM. BroadwayCon has announced a new panel, Journey to the Island: A Celebration of Ahrens and Flaherty. Featuring Lynn Ahrens, Anastasia's Christy Altomare, and Once On This Island's Hailey Kilgore, this panel will discuss the strong female characters that anchor both Anastasia and Once On This Island, as well as performances by Christy Altomare and Alex Newell.
