On Monday, June 28th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature new work by Charlie Sohne (Tina Girlstar, Speargrove Presents) and a presentation of the new musical I Married Wyatt Earp, book by Sheilah Rae (Funny You Don't Look Like A Grandmother, Speargrove Presents) & Thomas Edward West (Enchanted Cottage), music by Michele Brourman (Working, Speargrove Presents), lyrics by Sheilah Rae.

On Saturday, June 19, Julie Andrews was honored at the Starlight Ball in East Hampton Andrews recently played a sold out concert, 'An Evening with Julie Andrews' at the O2 Arena in the UK on May 8, 2010. 'An Evening with Julie Andrews' saw a night of music from her greatest stage and screen performances, as well as the live narration of the story Simeon's Gift, the best-selling childrens book written by Julie and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton (now available). Andrews and Hamilton recently released a second book, A Very Faity Princess. In attendance were special guests Christie Brinkley, Juergen & Anke Friedrich, and Jay McInerney & Anne Hearst McInerney. The drama started at Camp Wawanakwa with Total Drama Island, went Hollywood for Total Drama Action, and now travels the globe with the all-new Total Drama World Tour, premiering Monday, June 21 at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. Seventeen contestants - including some favorites from the past and some new faces - will duke it out on an international playing field for a grand prize of $1 million dollars. Host Chris McLean and his cohort Chef are back with Total Drama's signature painful and embarrassing challenges, this time taking advantage of the world's most famous landmarks and natural wonders.

The American premiere of This Wide Night starring two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco and Tony nominee Alison Pill begins previews Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street). Robert Cuccioli will direct Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse's JEKYLL AND HYDE at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, the theatre's official website announces. Cuccioli played the title roles in the original Broadway production of JEKYLL AND HYDE and was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance.

Special guest and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will accompany 'The Queen' at the piano and perform with the orchestra.

Last night, June 14, The Town Hall celebrated the Broadway By The Year® 10th Anniversary Celebration - Broadway By The Year 1990-2010, Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for the Town Hall, the Broadway performers included Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid, Sondheim on Sondheim), Karen Mason (Mama Mia!), Astaire Award-winner Spencer Liff (Cry- Baby), Michael Winther (Mama Mia!), Douglas Ladnier (Jekyll & Hyde), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), four-time Tony® Award nominee Gregg Edelmann (Tale of Two Cities), Alexander Gemignani (Les Miserables), Tony® Award winner Debbie Gravitte, Kendrick Jones (The Scottsboro Boys), three-time Tony® Award nominee Mark Kudisch (9 to 5), Tony® Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime), Julia Murney (Wicked), Max Von Essen (Xanadu national tour), Tony ® Award nominee Barbara Wash (Company) and Lari White (Ring of Fire). Broadway by the Year 1990-2010 was directed by Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter, who also performed in the show.
