On the heels of impressive ratings, Destination America, the only television network that celebrates the people, places and stories of the U.S., has greenlit a new hit series it its 'Buying' franchise -BUYING THE BAYOU, for season two -- and is prepping the third installment, BUYING HAWAII for premiere on Monday, December 2 at 10pm E/P.

After breaking box office records in 2011, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster will return to the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, March 5 - 23, 2014. Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of TAKING CARE OF BABY by Tony Award winner Dennis Kelly opened last night, Tuesday, November 19. Directed by Erica Schmidt (Humor Abuse), the cast features Francois Battiste (Magic/ Bird), Reed Birney (Blasted, Our Leading Lady), Kristen Bush (Kin, The Common Pursuit), Tony nominee Amelia Campbell (A Streetcar Named Desire, Our Country's Good), Margaret Colin (The Columnist, 'Gossip Girl'), Michael Crane (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson off-Broadway), Ethan Phillips (Golden Age) and Zach Shaffer ('Smash'). This five week limited engagement of TAKING CARE OF BABY is presented as part of The Studio at Stage II - Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series at New York City Center - Stage II (131 West 55th Street). Bernadette Peters, Norm Lewis, Jeremy Jordan and Cyrille Aimee just concluded their run in Stephen Sondheim and Wynton Marsalis's new musical event featuring Sondheim's music arranged and performed by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra withWynton Marsalis. This Encores! Special Event, directed by frequent Sondheim collaborator John Doyle, with choreography by Parker Esse and musical supervision by David Loud, was conceived by Peter Gethers, Jack Vierteland John Doyle. This was my first review of a Feast Festival production for this year, and I could not have asked for a better start. It is definitely one for all theatre enthusiasts.
