EgoPo continues their season devoted to the father of modern drama, Henrik Ibsen, with his rarely-produced masterpiece Lady from the Sea, directed by EgoPo Resident Director Brenna Geffers, and starring a powerful cast including the wonderful Genevieve Perrier, Ross Beschler, and Ed Swidey. Lady from the Sea previews February 19th with Press Opening on Friday, February 21st; the show will run two weeks, closing on March 2nd, at Christ Church Neighborhood House.

Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2014 Season, which opens on June 16 with Billy Elliot The Musical. "We're so happy these exciting artists are creating our 2014 season," said Isaacson. "This is a challenging season, one with incredible variety and power. We're fortunate that such extraordinary talents will be creating our 'Muny Magic.'"

Shining East Productions presents The Sun Shines East, based on a true story written by Corinne Chateau* about an adoptive mother's struggle to break through deep personal barriers and international politics to bring home her daughter. Pat Golden directs a cast of 5 including Karen Christie-Ward*, Tara Gadomski*, Mary Francina Golden*, Bristol Pomeroy, and Amy Staats*. Fourteen performances will be held at the Marjorie S. The Wild Root Company, a new production endeavor committed to developing new works from emerging playwrights and screenwriters, announced today full casting and creative team for its one-night-only benefit reading of Gloria, a brand new screenplay adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece The Beautiful and Damned. All profits raised from the evening, which will take place at The Mainstage at Playwrights Horizons on Monday January 6, 2014 at 8:00 pm, will go to the Ali Forney Center for Homeless LGBTQ Youth. Broadway legend, Tony and Drama Desk Award winner Dick Latessa (Broadway's The Lyons, Promises, Promises, Brighton Beach Memoirs) will star in the reading directed by two-time Drama Desk Award nominee Ed Sylvanus Iskandar (Restoration Comedy, These Seven Sicknesses).

Nancy Saklad & Liz Korabek Emerson Set for New Hampshire Theatre Project's Adult Winter Workshops

New Hampshire Theatre Project is pleased to host two guest artists as part of their Adult Winter Workshop Series. Liz Korabek Emerson will begin the series on Monday, January 13, 2014 with Letting Go of Stage Fright: Mindfulness for Performers. Liz is a director, performer, teacher and practicing Buddhist. She holds an MFA from Ohio University in theater history and performance. She has trained in corporeal mime, clowning and viewpoints. Her current solo show is Ruthlessly Optimistic for No Apparent Reason. In this class, Liz will show students how to give confident, consistent performances using mindfulness with breath as a focus, and will provide specific exercises to uncover negative thought patterns to relieve fears and regain confidence.

The staged concert version of Charles M. Schulz's iconic television special brought the beloved Peanuts characters to life through special choreography performed by dancers from New York Theatre Ballet and child actors from TADA! Youth Theater. Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Sesame Street) narrates the heart-warming story, underscored by the music of Vince Guaraldi, performed by The New York Pops and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA.
